Description

And so, the Black Hero who fought and fought against the world finally, truly broke down. The Hero was sealed far to the south by the Goddess that protected the world. But another monster lived in that region: the Lonesome Devil, hideous and ever so lonely, so lonely that he seemed to be dying. “I want to get out of this place. I need power to get out. Would you give me your body? Would you let me eat half of your body?”

“Sure, go ahead. You’re the first friend I’ve ever had, and all. For you, giving up my body is no big deal.” The devil called “All Formulas” was split into the “Solver of All Formulas” and the “Weaver of All Formulas”. And the Hero devoured the “Weaver of All Formulas” on the spot.

The Hero broke the world, and broke it, and broke it even more, until he finally reached the world’s core. But what he found was the blackest despair, pain, loneliness, and Hell…and darkness, and darkness, and darkness, and darkness. “Help me. Help me. I want to destroy the entire world, but I’m going to die first. Someone, please take this darkness, this pain, in my place.”

“You can use the rest of my body, then. You can put the darkness in here.” The Lonesome Devil didn’t regret it much at all. Because he made a friend, even just for a moment. Because he was able to live for his friend, even just for a moment. The Lonesome Devil is a fool.

- Legend of Legendary Heroes (C) Funimation

Last fall I found this series on Youtube and got interested in it cause the title was "Heroes" so I watched a couple of episodes and I got into it. But with my home internet being really bad, I had to watch it at school. But with homework I kept on losing where I left off. But now I've watched all the episode of the first season, and while watching the final episode, this part of came up. And I was so interested in it. And this is why...

When I heard that "the Lonesome Devil was a fool" it got me thinking...does that mean all humans are fools? Because as humans we have a heart to give what we have to someone else in any amount. But if you take it from the perspective of the Devil, he gave up everything just for friend...it just goes to show you how much a person will give up just to feel needed...to feel wanted even just for a moment...as humans we strive for acceptance in any way possible

As for the Black Hero, he represents how even the best of people could fall by what they do as "good". The Hero killed off all the Demons that plauged the land but in doing so, there wasn't anything to kill so he turned to the world and destroyed everything. This sort of shows how the best leaders could fall to evil methods to bring about the good for their nation.

I just thought that this part of the series was interesting and I wanted to share it with ya'll...so now the question now lies with you...

Are you the Black Hero who strives for more power and in doing so could become cresentfallen? Or are you the Lonesome Devil that's been an outcast over something and strive for acceptance even if it wasn't real to the other person or just for a single moment?

PS GO AND WATCH THE LEGEND OF LEGENDARY HEROES ON YOUTUBE BY FUNIMATION ^_^
